About Us

Some lovely things our previous couples have said ❤️

About Martin

It might be the beard… but due to my energy and enthusiasm, I’m often compared to a young Brian Blessed. But don’t let that put you off! I pride myself on my ability to make people feel at ease during shoots, and this lets me capture all the good stuff: real reactions, love, and laughter in my photos.

I adore my job. I know, that’s quite rare these days. But at least once a day I’ll proclaim that wedding photography is the best job in the world, AND IT IS! Confucius said, ‘Choose a job you love, and you’ll never work another day in your life,’ and I truly believe this. I think my passion and love of photography really comes through in my work. This is why I reckon few other photographers work quite as hard as we do, or have as much fun doing it.

My favourite part of the job: I love the time I get to spend with the couple right after the ceremony. It’s usually the first moment they’ve had all day to see one another, to catch their breath, and relax! This is where we take some of our best photos, but also, this is where the nerves finally subside. The love and happiness that a couple has for one other bubbles to the surface at this time. You can see, clear on their faces: two people that have FINALLY DONE IT. They can’t stop smiling, and it’s contagious. You can almost see their future spiralling out in front of them, with so many more adventures to come, and so many more dreams to make reality. I love these moments and feel so privileged to be a part of them.

About Emily

Chirstmas hat optional.

I live with my husband, two border collies, a cat and some reptiles. You could say I’m a bit of an animal lover.

I love: photography. I know that’s a bit cliche, but my ideal day is probably spent exploring a new town or city with my camera in hand.

I love to travel, and try to do it as much as possible. I have a really nerdy thing on my bucket-list where I want to visit all the Great Towers in the world? You know, like the CN Tower in Toronto, and the Eiffel Tower in Paris etc. There’s about 40 of them but dammit, one day I’m going to see them all!

I also love music. I play the drums and guitar, and love rock and metal in particular.

I’m a bit of a gamer — though Martin is much better than me it’s really annoying. I love Halo, Overwatch, and the Farcry games. I may have played Farcry 5 three times through just to check out the alternate endings.

I’m a bit obsessed with Doctor Who, Harry Potter, The X Files, and Star Trek to name a few.
